In Acts 2:42 we are given a glimpse of what Jesus had envisioned for the church. In this passage, Luke, a dedicated disciple and historian, used the word Koinonia to describe the church. Koinonia simply means a fellowship of Christ’s followers and seekers coming together to share life together in a way that glorifies God. It is with Koinonia in mind that our worship services are designed. This is a time for those who follow and those who seek out the Lord to come together and worship Him as our God and Savior.
